What kind of insurance does The Allsup Company offer?
Allsup does not insure or provide insurance against any losses sustained by Users. That said, Allsup wants Users to be happy about their experience, and the Happiness Pledge is in place to encourage continued use of the Allsup Platform.
Allsup may offer certain reimbursements at its discretion on a case-by-case basis (subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations outlined in the Terms of Service and the Happiness Pledge). Please see the Happiness Pledge applicable to your country for details.
Suppose you carry insurance that would cover you in the event of a claim, including but not limited to renter’s insurance, homeowner’s insurance, medical insurance, or an umbrella policy (“Personal Insurance”). In that case, you must seek compensation for losses from your Personal Insurance before seeking compensation through the Happiness Pledge.
The Happiness Pledge will only compensate for losses to the extent not otherwise covered by your Personal Insurance. In addition, all complaints must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of the occurrence of the project giving rise to the Claim.
